O king (narādhipa), the foolish person (mūḍhaḥ) is hostile towards friends (mitradveṣī) and serves only for his own purposes (kāryopasevī) among them, even for a minor wrongdoing (alpe apakṛte) or one committed out of ignorance (ajñānāt kṛte api).
