महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-162, verse-31

तस्य क्षयमुपागम्य ततो भिक्षामयाचत ।
प्रतिश्रयं च वासार्थं भिक्षां चैवाथ वार्षिकीम् ॥३१॥
31. tasya kṣayamupāgamya tato bhikṣāmayācata ,
pratiśrayaṁ ca vāsārthaṁ bhikṣāṁ caivātha vārṣikīm.

31. Having approached his dwelling (kṣaya), he then begged for alms, and also for shelter (pratiśraya) for residence, and indeed, annual alms.
