महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-162, verse-16

कृतघ्नश्चाधमो लोके न संधेयः कथंचन ।
छिद्रान्वेषी न संधेयः संधेयानपि मे शृणु ॥१६॥

16. kṛtaghnaścādhamo loke na saṁdheyaḥ kathaṁcana ,
chidrānveṣī na saṁdheyaḥ saṁdheyānapi me śṛṇu.

16. The ungrateful (kṛtaghna) and the vilest person in the world should never be allied with. A fault-finder should also not be allied with. Now, listen to me concerning those who are worthy of alliance.
