महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-92, verse-43

रममाणस्तया सार्धं यथाकामं जनेश्वरः ।
अष्टावजनयत्पुत्रांस्तस्याममरवर्णिनः ॥४३॥
43. ramamāṇastayā sārdhaṁ yathākāmaṁ janeśvaraḥ ,
aṣṭāvajanayatputrāṁstasyāmamaravarṇinaḥ.

aṣṭau ajanayat putrān tasyām amaravarṇinaḥ
43. The king, enjoying with her as he wished, begot eight sons from her, who possessed divine beauty.
