महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-92, verse-34

यत्तु कुर्यामहं राजञ्शुभं वा यदि वाशुभम् ।
न तद्वारयितव्यास्मि न वक्तव्या तथाप्रियम् ॥३४॥

34. yattu kuryāmahaṁ rājañśubhaṁ vā yadi vāśubham ,
na tadvārayitavyāsmi na vaktavyā tathāpriyam.

34. O king, whatever I may do, whether good or bad, I must not be forbidden from it, nor should you speak such unpleasant words to me.

34. אך כל מה שאעשה, הו מלך, בין אם טוב ובין אם רע, אסור לך לעצור אותי בגללו, ואסור לך לדבר אליי דברים לא נעימים.
