महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-92, verse-19

संस्मरंश्चाक्षयाँल्लोकान्विजितान्स्वेन कर्मणा ।
पुण्यकर्मकृदेवासीच्छंतनुः कुरुसत्तम ॥१९॥
19. saṁsmaraṁścākṣayāँllokānvijitānsvena karmaṇā ,
puṇyakarmakṛdevāsīcchaṁtanuḥ kurusattama.
19. saṃsmaran ca akṣayān lokān vijitān svena karmaṇā
puṇyakarmakṛt eva āsīt śaṃtanuḥ kurusattama
19. O best of the Kurus, Shantanu, remembering the imperishable realms he had conquered through his own actions, was indeed a performer of meritorious deeds.
