महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-92, verse-16

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तथेत्युक्त्वा तु सा राजंस्तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ।
पुत्रजन्म प्रतीक्षंस्तु स राजा तदधारयत् ॥१६॥
16. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tathetyuktvā tu sā rājaṁstatraivāntaradhīyata ,
putrajanma pratīkṣaṁstu sa rājā tadadhārayat.
16. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca tathā iti uktvā tu sā rājan tatra eva
antaradhīyata putrajanma pratīkṣan tu saḥ rājā tat adhārayat
16. Vaiśampāyana said: "Having said, 'So be it,' O King, she vanished right there. That king, however, anticipating the birth of a son, held onto that (promise)."
