महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-218, verse-8

तस्यास्तीक्ष्णेन भल्लेन पृथुधारेण पाण्डवः ।
शिरश्चिच्छेद गच्छन्त्यास्तामपश्यत्सुरेश्वरः ॥८॥
8. tasyāstīkṣṇena bhallena pṛthudhāreṇa pāṇḍavaḥ ,
śiraściccheda gacchantyāstāmapaśyatsureśvaraḥ.
8. tasyāḥ tīkṣṇena bhallena pṛthudhāreṇa pāṇḍavaḥ
śiraḥ ciccheda gacchantyāḥ tām apaśyat sureśvaraḥ
8. The son of Pāṇḍu (Arjuna) cut off the head of her who was going away with a sharp, broad-edged arrow. The lord of the gods (Indra) saw her.
