महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-218, verse-19

कृष्णाभ्यां रक्षितं दृष्ट्वा तं च दावमहंकृताः ।
समुत्पेतुरथाकाशं सुपर्णाद्याः पतत्रिणः ॥१९॥
19. kṛṣṇābhyāṁ rakṣitaṁ dṛṣṭvā taṁ ca dāvamahaṁkṛtāḥ ,
samutpeturathākāśaṁ suparṇādyāḥ patatriṇaḥ.

19. Upon seeing that forest fire protected by the two Krishnas (referring to Krishna and Arjuna), and being themselves arrogant (ahaṅkāra), the birds, led by Suparṇa, then flew up into the sky.
