महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-218, verse-28

ततः शक्रोऽभिसंक्रुद्धस्त्रिदशानां महेश्वरः ।
पाण्डुरं गजमास्थाय तावुभौ समभिद्रवत् ॥२८॥
28. tataḥ śakro'bhisaṁkruddhastridaśānāṁ maheśvaraḥ ,
pāṇḍuraṁ gajamāsthāya tāvubhau samabhidravat.
28. tataḥ śakraḥ abhisaṃkruddhaḥ tridaśānām maheśvaraḥ
pāṇḍuram gajam āsthāya tau ubhau samabhidravat
28. Then Indra (Śakra), the great lord (maheśvaraḥ) of the gods (tridaśānām), became extremely enraged. Mounting a white elephant, he attacked both of them.
