योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-31, verse-34

उपायमेकमेवेमं हरेराक्रमणे स्फुटम् ।
मन्ये तद्व्यतिरेकेण विद्यते न प्रतिक्रिया ॥ ३४ ॥
upāyamekamevemaṃ harerākramaṇe sphuṭam ,
manye tadvyatirekeṇa vidyate na pratikriyā 34
34. upāyam ekam eva imam hareḥ ākramaṇe sphuṭam
manye tat-vyatirekeṇa vidyate na pratikriyā
34. manye (aham) hareḥ ākramaṇe imam ekam eva upāyam sphuṭam.
tat-vyatirekeṇa na pratikriyā vidyate.
34. I clearly believe that this is the one and only expedient for an assault on Hari (Vishnu); without this, no counter-measure exists.
