योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-31, verse-11

त्रिलोकीनाभिनलिनीमत्तेभा दानवा अपि ।
देववद्दैन्यमायाताः किमसाध्यमहो विधेः ॥ ११ ॥
trilokīnābhinalinīmattebhā dānavā api ,
devavaddainyamāyātāḥ kimasādhyamaho vidheḥ 11

dainyam āyātāḥ kim asādhyam aho vidheḥ || 11 ||
11. trilokīnābhinanalīnīmattebhāḥ dānavāḥ api
devavat dainyam āyātāḥ aho vidheḥ kim asādhyam 11
11. Even the demons (dānava), who were like rutting elephants to the lotus-pond that is the navel of the three worlds, have now fallen into wretchedness (dainyam) just like the gods. Oh, what is impossible for fate (vidhi)?
