योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-21, verse-14

ततस्तमेव निर्णीय तमेव च विकल्पयन् ।
अन्तःस्थया रञ्जनया रञ्जयन्स्वामहंकृतिम् ॥ १४ ॥
tatastameva nirṇīya tameva ca vikalpayan ,
antaḥsthayā rañjanayā rañjayansvāmahaṃkṛtim 14

antaḥsthayā rañjanayā rañjayan svām ahaṅkṛtim

14. Then, having definitively ascertained that very thing, and repeatedly conceiving that same thing, one colors one's own ego (ahaṅkṛti) through an internal emotional attachment (rañjanā).
