योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-16, verse-30

इति निश्चित्य सा नाथमनुक्त्वैव वराङ्गना ।
यथाशास्त्रं चचारोग्रं तथा नियममास्थिता ॥ ३० ॥
iti niścitya sā nāthamanuktvaiva varāṅganā ,
yathāśāstraṃ cacārograṃ tathā niyamamāsthitā 30
30. iti niścitya sā nātham anuktvā eva vara-aṅganā
yathāśāstram cacāra ugram tathā niyamam āsthitā
30. sā vara-aṅganā iti niścitya nātham anuktvā eva
ugram niyamam āsthitā tathā yathāśāstram cacāra
30. Having thus resolved, that noble lady, without even informing her husband, undertook a severe vow (niyama) and performed it exactly according to scriptural injunctions.
