योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-16, verse-23

इत्यानीयाथ संपूज्य द्विजान्पप्रच्छ सा नता ।
अमरत्वं कथं विप्रा भवेदिति पुनःपुनः ॥ २३ ॥
ityānīyātha saṃpūjya dvijānpapraccha sā natā ,
amaratvaṃ kathaṃ viprā bhavediti punaḥpunaḥ 23
23. iti ānīya atha saṃpūjya dvijān papraccha sā natā
amaratvam katham viprā bhavet iti punaḥ punaḥ
23. sā natā iti dvijān ānīya atha saṃpūjya he viprāḥ
amaratvam katham bhavet iti punaḥ punaḥ papraccha
23. Having thus brought and then honored the Brahmins (dvija), she, bowing humbly, repeatedly asked them, 'O learned ones (vipra), how can immortality be attained?'
