वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-58, verse-8

स ववर्ष ततो वृक्षाञ् शिलाश्च कपिकुञ्जरः ।
तान्प्रचिच्छेद संक्रुद्धस्त्रिशिरा निशितैः शरैः ॥८॥
8. sa vavarṣa tato vṛkṣāñ śilāśca kapikuñjaraḥ ,
tānpraciccheda saṃkruddhastriśirā niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ.
8. saḥ vavvarṣa tataḥ vṛkṣān śilāḥ ca kapi-kuñjaraḥ tān
pra-ciccheda saṃkruddhaḥ triśirāḥ niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ
8. Then, that best of monkeys (Angada) showered trees and stones. Enraged, Triśirā cut them down with sharp arrows.
