वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-58, verse-50

स तयाभिहतस्तेन गदया वानरर्षभः ।
भिन्नवक्षाः समाधूतः सुस्राव रुधिरं बहु ॥५०॥
50. sa tayābhihatastena gadayā vānararṣabhaḥ ,
bhinnavakṣāḥ samādhūtaḥ susrāva rudhiraṃ bahu.

bhinnavakṣāḥ samādhūtaḥ susrāva rudhiram bahu
50. That chief of monkeys (vānararṣabha), struck by Mahāpārśva with that mace, had his chest shattered and was greatly shaken, profusely bleeding much blood.
