वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-60, verse-7

भूतानि राक्षसेन्द्रेण वधार्हेण हृतामपि ।
न तां शशंसू रामाय तथा गोदावरी नदी ॥७॥
7. bhūtāni rākṣasendreṇa vadhārheṇa hṛtāmapi ,
na tāṃ śaśaṃsū rāmāya tathā godāvarī nadī.

7. Even though she had been abducted by the king of Rākṣasas (demons), who deserved death, neither the living beings nor the river Godāvarī revealed her (location) to Rāma.
