If the eighth house is joined with a benefic aspect, and the lord of the ninth house (dharma lord) is also conjoined with benefic planets, then death should be understood to occur in a holy place (tīrtha). Otherwise, if malefic planets (pāpa) are involved, death will occur under other circumstances.
