बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-44, verse-18

आद्यान्तपौ च विज्ञेयौ चन्द्राक्रान्तगृहाद् द्विज ।
मारकौ पापखेटौ तौ शुभौ चेद्रोगदौ स्मृतौ ॥१८॥

18. O twice-born (dvija), the lords of the second and twelfth houses from the Moon-occupied sign are also to be known as death-inflictors (mārakas). If those two planets are benefics, they are considered givers of disease.
