बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-44, verse-15

अथाऽन्यदपि वक्ष्यामि नृणां मारकलक्षणम् ।
अल्पायुर्योगजातस्य विप्भे च मृतिर्भवेत् ॥१५॥
15. athā'nyadapi vakṣyāmi nṛṇāṃ mārakalakṣaṇam .
alpāyuryogajātasya vipbhe ca mṛtirbhavet.
15. atha anyat api vakṣyāmi nṛṇām mārakalakṣaṇam
alpāyuryogajātasya vipphe ca mṛtiḥ bhavet
15. Now, I shall also explain the characteristics of death-inflicting planets or signs (mārakalakṣaṇa) for human beings. For someone born with an astrological combination (yoga) indicating a short lifespan, death occurs during the vippha (a specific planetary period).
