बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-44, verse-20

मारका बहवः खेटा यदि वीर्यसमन्विताः ।
तत्तद्दशान्तरे विप्र रोगकष्टादिसंभवः ॥२०॥
20. mārakā bahavaḥ kheṭā yadi vīryasamanvitāḥ .
tattaddaśāntare vipra rogakaṣṭādisaṃbhavaḥ.
20. mārakāḥ bahavaḥ kheṭāḥ yadi vīryasamanvitāḥ
tat-tat-daśāntare vipra rogakaṣṭādisambhavaḥ
20. O Brahmin (vipra), if many death-inflicting planets (mārakas) are endowed with strength, then in their respective major or sub-periods (daśā-antardaśā), there is a possibility of disease, suffering, and other misfortunes.
