मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-123, verse-9

मायेयं रक्षसां नूनं दुष्टानां काननौकसाम् ।
अथवा गत एवाहं सर्वं वेत्स्यामि कारणम् ॥९॥
9. māyeyaṃ rakṣasāṃ nūnaṃ duṣṭānāṃ kānanaukasām .
athavā gata evāhaṃ sarvaṃ vetsyāmi kāraṇam.
9. māyā iyam rakṣasām nūnam duṣṭānām kānanaukasām
athavā gataḥ eva aham sarvam vetsyāmi kāraṇam
9. This is surely the illusion (māyā) of wicked forest-dwelling Rākṣasas. Or else, I will go myself and learn the entire reason.
