सृजतः शरवर्षाणि तं चिक्षेप ततो द्रुमम् ।
स च तं तिलशश्चैके भल्लैः कार्मुकमोचितैः ॥२१॥

Then (the demon) hurled that tree at him (Lakshmana), who was sending forth showers of arrows. And he (Lakshmana) along with some of his arrows, shattered that (tree) into tiny pieces with broad-headed darts released from his bow.
