मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततो विममृशे वाक्यमविक्षित्स तथोदितम् ।
कथमेषा हि मे भार्या स्नुषा तातस्य वा कथम् ॥१५॥

15. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tato vimamṛśe vākyamavikṣitsa tathoditam .
kathameṣā hi me bhāryā snuṣā tātasya vā katham.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then Avikṣit pondered the words that had been spoken thus: "How indeed can this woman be my wife, or my father's daughter-in-law?"
