मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-123, verse-31

तत्कथं तामपास्याद्य विशालतनयामहम् ।
नृशंसात्मा करिष्यामि अन्यनारीपरिग्रहम् ॥३१॥
31. tatkathaṃ tāmapāsyādya viśālatanayāmaham .
nṛśaṃsātmā kariṣyāmi anyanārīparigraham.

31. Therefore, how can I, with such a cruel heart, abandon the daughter of Viśāla today and take another wife?
