मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-123, verse-8

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इत्याकर्ण्य महीपालतनयः सशरासनी ।
चिन्तयामास किमिदं मम भार्यात्र कानने ॥८॥
8. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
ityākarṇya mahīpālatanayaḥ saśarāsanī .
cintayāmāsa kimidaṃ mama bhāryātra kānane.
8. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca iti ākarṇya mahīpālatanayaḥ
saśarāsanī cintayāmāsa kim idam mama bhāryā atra kānane
8. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Hearing this, the king's son, equipped with a bow, pondered: 'What is this? My wife, here in the forest?'
