इत्याकर्ण्य महीपालतनयः सशरासनी ।
चिन्तयामास किमिदं मम भार्यात्र कानने ॥८॥

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Hearing this, the king's son, equipped with a bow, pondered: 'What is this? My wife, here in the forest?'
