शुश्राव सहसा शब्दं त्राहित्राहीति योषितः ।
विक्रोशन्त्याः सुबहुशो भयगद्गदमुच्चकैः ॥२॥

He suddenly heard a woman's loud, fear-choked cries, repeatedly screaming, "Save me! Save me!"
