मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-114, verse-9

अन्यांश्च सुमहावीर्यानाजघानामरद्विषः ।
प्रजातेस्तनयाः पञ्च खनित्रप्रमुखा मुने ॥९॥
9. anyāṃśca sumahāvīryānājaghānāmaradviṣaḥ .
prajātestanayāḥ pañca khanitrapramukhā mune.
9. anyān ca sumahāvīryān ājaghāna amaradviṣaḥ
prajāteḥ tanayāḥ pañca khanitrapramukhāḥ mune
9. And he killed other very powerful enemies of the gods. O sage, Prajāti had five sons, with Khanitra as their chief.
