मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-114, verse-37

राज्यलब्धुश्च ते कार्यं त्वं कर्त्ता करणं वयम् ।
सोऽस्माभिः करणै राज्यं पितृपैतामहं कुरु ॥३७॥
37. rājyalabdhuśca te kāryaṃ tvaṃ karttā karaṇaṃ vayam .
so'smābhiḥ karaṇai rājyaṃ pitṛpaitāmahaṃ kuru.
37. rājyalabdhuḥ ca te kāryam tvam karttā karaṇam vayam
saḥ asmābhiḥ karaṇaiḥ rājyam pitṛpaitāmaham kuru
37. Your duty is to acquire the kingdom; you are the chief actor, and we are the instruments. Therefore, with us as your instruments, secure that ancestral kingdom.
