यथात्मनि यथा पुत्रे हितमिच्छथ सर्वदा ।
तथा समस्तभूतेषु वर्त्तध्वं हितबुद्धयः ॥१६॥

16. yathātmani yathā putre hitamicchatha sarvadā .
tathā samastabhūteṣu varttadhvaṃ hitabuddhayaḥ.

Just as you always desire what is beneficial for yourselves (ātman) and for your son, similarly, benevolent-minded people, act towards all beings.
