स्नेहः कः पृथिवीपाल परयोर्भ्रातृपुत्रयोः ।
तत्पुत्रयोः परतरा मतिर्भवति पार्थिव ॥३३॥

33. snehaḥ kaḥ pṛthivīpāla parayorbhrātṛputrayoḥ .
tatputrayoḥ paratarā matirbhavati pārthiva.

33. snehaḥ kaḥ pṛthivīpāla parayoḥ bhrātṛputrayoḥ
tatputrayoḥ paratarā matiḥ bhavati pārthiva

33. O protector of the earth (pṛthivīpāla), what affection can there be for the two sons of a brother (your nephews) who are considered rivals? For, O ruler (pārthiva), the intellect (mati) of your own sons is always held as superior.
