मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-114, verse-12

सर्वलोकप्रियो नित्यमुवाचैतदहर्निशम् ।
नन्दन्तु सर्वभूतानि स्निह्यन्तु विजनेष्वपि ॥१२॥
12. sarvalokapriyo nityamuvācaitadaharniśam .
nandantu sarvabhūtāni snihyantu vijaneṣvapi.
12. sarvalokapriyaḥ nityam uvāca etat aharniśam
nandantu sarvabhūtāni snihyantu vijaneṣu api
12. Always dear to all people, he constantly said this day and night: 'May all beings rejoice, and may they be friendly even to the solitary ones.'
