महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-50, verse-51

तत्रापि दत्त्वा वसु रौहिणेयो महाबलः केशवपूर्वजोऽथ ।
जगाम तीर्थं मुदितः क्रमेण ख्यातं महद्वृद्धकन्या स्म यत्र ॥५१॥
51. tatrāpi dattvā vasu rauhiṇeyo; mahābalaḥ keśavapūrvajo'tha ,
jagāma tīrthaṁ muditaḥ krameṇa; khyātaṁ mahadvṛddhakanyā sma yatra.

jagāma tīrtham muditaḥ krameṇa

51. Then, Balarāma, the mighty son of Rohiṇī and elder brother of Keśava, after distributing wealth there, proceeded joyfully, step by step, to a great and renowned pilgrimage site where an old maiden (vṛddhakanyā) once lived.
