महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-50, verse-30

तस्यास्थिभिरथो शक्रः संप्रहृष्टमनास्तदा ।
कारयामास दिव्यानि नानाप्रहरणान्युत ।
वज्राणि चक्राणि गदा गुरुदण्डांश्च पुष्कलान् ॥३०॥
30. tasyāsthibhiratho śakraḥ saṁprahṛṣṭamanāstadā ,
kārayāmāsa divyāni nānāpraharaṇānyuta ,
vajrāṇi cakrāṇi gadā gurudaṇḍāṁśca puṣkalān.

30. Then, with those bones of his, Indra, whose mind was greatly delighted, caused various divine weapons to be made. These included thunderbolts (vajra), discus-weapons (cakra), maces, and many powerful heavy staffs.
