इत्युक्तः प्रतिजग्राह प्रीतिं चावाप उत्तमाम् ।
मन्त्रवच्चोपजिघ्रत्तं मूर्ध्नि प्रेम्णा द्विजोत्तमः ॥१५॥

15. ityuktaḥ pratijagrāha prītiṁ cāvāpa uttamām ,
mantravaccopajighrattaṁ mūrdhni premṇā dvijottamaḥ.

15. After being spoken to in this manner, the excellent Brahmin (dvijottama) accepted him and experienced supreme joy. With great affection, he ritually smelled his head, accompanied by sacred recitations (mantra).
