महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-50, verse-2

तत्राप्युपस्पृश्य बलो दत्त्वा दानानि चात्मवान् ।
सारस्वतस्य धर्मात्मा मुनेस्तीर्थं जगाम ह ॥२॥
2. tatrāpyupaspṛśya balo dattvā dānāni cātmavān ,
sārasvatasya dharmātmā munestīrthaṁ jagāma ha.

sārasvatasya dharmātmā muneḥ tīrtham jagāma ha

2. The righteous-souled (dharma) and self-controlled Balarāma, having bathed there and given gifts (dāna), indeed went to the sacred bathing place (tīrtha) of the sage Sarasvata.
