महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-50, verse-13

दृष्ट्वा तेऽप्सरसं रेतो यत्स्कन्नं प्रागलम्बुसाम् ।
तत्कुक्षिणा वै ब्रह्मर्षे त्वद्भक्त्या धृतवत्यहम् ॥१३॥
13. dṛṣṭvā te'psarasaṁ reto yatskannaṁ prāgalambusām ,
tatkukṣiṇā vai brahmarṣe tvadbhaktyā dhṛtavatyaham.
13. dṛṣṭvā te apsarasam retaḥ yat skannam prāgalambusām
tat kukṣiṇā vai brahmarṣe tvat bhaktyā dhṛtavatī aham
13. brahmarṣe te apsarasam dṛṣṭvā yat prāgalambusām skannam

13. O brahmarṣi, that semen (`retas`) of yours, which fell when you saw the apsara and were in a dangling posture (`prāgalambusām`), that very semen I indeed held in my womb by means of my devotion (bhakti) to you.
