कुक्षौ चाप्यदधद्दृष्ट्वा तद्रेतः पुरुषर्षभ ।

10. O best of men (puruṣarṣabha), having seen that semen (retas), the great river (mahānadī) then placed it in her womb and carried that embryo for the sake of a son.
