महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-46, verse-45

यो नः पुरा षण्ढतिलानवोचत्सभामध्ये पार्थिवानां समक्षम् ।
स दुर्मतिः कच्चिदुपेत्य संख्ये त्वया हतः सूतपुत्रोऽत्यमर्षी ॥४५॥
45. yo naḥ purā ṣaṇḍhatilānavoca;tsabhāmadhye pārthivānāṁ samakṣam ,
sa durmatiḥ kaccidupetya saṁkhye; tvayā hataḥ sūtaputro'tyamarṣī.

45. I hope that the wicked Karṇa, that extremely arrogant son of a charioteer, who formerly, in the assembly and in the presence of kings, called us 'eunuch-sesame seeds' (implying uselessness), has been killed by you today, having faced him in battle.
