महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-46, verse-24

तत्त्वा पृच्छामि कौन्तेय यथा ह्यकुशलस्तथा ।
तन्ममाचक्ष्व कार्त्स्न्येन यथा कर्णस्त्वया हतः ॥२४॥
24. tattvā pṛcchāmi kaunteya yathā hyakuśalastathā ,
tanmamācakṣva kārtsnyena yathā karṇastvayā hataḥ.
24. tat tvām pṛcchāmi kaunteya yathā hi akuśalaḥ tathā
tat mama ācakṣva kārtsnyena yathā karṇaḥ tvayā hataḥ
24. kaunteya,
tat tvām pṛcchāmi yathā hi akuśalaḥ tathā.
tat mama kārtsnyena ācakṣva,
yathā karṇaḥ tvayā hataḥ.
24. Therefore, O son of Kunti, I ask you, as if I were truly ignorant or unskilled, explain that to me completely: how was Karna slain by you?
