योऽसौ नित्यं शूरमदेन मत्तो विकत्थते संसदि कौरवाणाम् ।
प्रियोऽत्यर्थं तस्य सुयोधनस्य कच्चित्स पापो निहतस्त्वयाद्य ॥३५॥

35. yo'sau nityaṁ śūramadena matto; vikatthate saṁsadi kauravāṇām ,
priyo'tyarthaṁ tasya suyodhanasya; kaccitsa pāpo nihatastvayādya.

35. yaḥ asau nityam śūramadena mattaḥ
vikatthate saṃsadi kauravāṇām
priyaḥ atyartham tasya suyodhanasya
kaccit saḥ pāpaḥ nihataḥ tvayā adya

35. adya tvayā saḥ pāpaḥ nihataḥ kaccit? yaḥ asau nityam śūramadena mattaḥ kauravāṇām saṃsadi vikatthate,
tasya suyodhanasya atyartham priyaḥ (asti).

35. I hope, by you today, that sinner has been slain—the one who, intoxicated by the arrogance of a warrior, always boasts in the assembly of the Kauravas and is exceedingly dear to Suyodhana.
