महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-46, verse-42

कच्चित्त्वया तस्य सुमन्दबुद्धेर्गाण्डीवमुक्तैर्विशिखैर्ज्वलद्भिः ।
सकुण्डलं भानुमदुत्तमाङ्गं कायात्प्रकृत्तं युधि सव्यसाचिन् ॥४२॥
42. kaccittvayā tasya sumandabuddhe;rgāṇḍīvamuktairviśikhairjvaladbhiḥ ,
sakuṇḍalaṁ bhānumaduttamāṅgaṁ; kāyātprakṛttaṁ yudhi savyasācin.
42. kaccit tvayā tasya sumandabuddheḥ
gāṇḍīvamuktaiḥ viśikhaiḥ jvaladbhiḥ
| sakuṇḍalaṃ bhānumat uttamāṅgaṃ
kāyāt prakṛttaṃ yudhi savyasācin
42. savyasācin! kaccit yudhi tvayā gāṇḍīvamuktaiḥ jvaladbhiḥ viśikhaiḥ,
tasya sumandabuddheḥ sakuṇḍalaṃ bhānumat uttamāṅgaṃ kāyāt prakṛttaṃ?
42. O Savyasācin (Arjuna), I hope that in battle you have severed from the body of that extremely dull-witted man his brilliant head, adorned with earrings, by means of the blazing arrows released from your Gaṇḍīva bow.
