यत्तन्मया बाणसमर्पितेन ध्यातोऽसि कर्णस्य वधाय वीर ।
तन्मे त्वया कच्चिदमोघमद्य ध्यातं कृतं कर्णनिपातनेन ॥४३॥

O hero (Arjuna), I hope that the profound meditation (dhyāna) I performed, focused on you and the offering of arrows for Karṇa's destruction, has today been fulfilled by you through the slaying of Karṇa, thus proving it unfailing.
