महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-46, verse-43

यत्तन्मया बाणसमर्पितेन ध्यातोऽसि कर्णस्य वधाय वीर ।
तन्मे त्वया कच्चिदमोघमद्य ध्यातं कृतं कर्णनिपातनेन ॥४३॥
43. yattanmayā bāṇasamarpitena; dhyāto'si karṇasya vadhāya vīra ,
tanme tvayā kaccidamoghamadya; dhyātaṁ kṛtaṁ karṇanipātanena.
43. yat tat mayā bāṇasamarpitena
dhyātaḥ asi karṇasya vadhāya vīra
| tat me tvayā kaccit amogham
adya dhyātaṃ kṛtaṃ karṇanipātanena
43. vīra! yat tat mayā bāṇasamarpitena karṇasya vadhāya asi dhyātaḥ,
tat me dhyātaṃ adya tvayā karṇanipātanena kaccit amogham kṛtaṃ?
43. O hero (Arjuna), I hope that the profound meditation (dhyāna) I performed, focused on you and the offering of arrows for Karṇa's destruction, has today been fulfilled by you through the slaying of Karṇa, thus proving it unfailing.
