महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-46, verse-34

रौक्मं रथं हस्तिवरैश्च युक्तं रथं दित्सुर्यः परेभ्यस्त्वदर्थे ।
सदा रणे स्पर्धते यः स पापः कच्चित्त्वया निहतस्तात युद्धे ॥३४॥
34. raukmaṁ rathaṁ hastivaraiśca yuktaṁ; rathaṁ ditsuryaḥ parebhyastvadarthe ,
sadā raṇe spardhate yaḥ sa pāpaḥ; kaccittvayā nihatastāta yuddhe.

34. tāta,
yaḥ pāpaḥ tvadarthe parebhyaḥ raukmam ratham ca hastivaraiḥ yuktam ratham ditsuḥ sadā raṇe spardhate,
saḥ tvayā yuddhe nihataḥ kaccit?
34. O dear one, I hope that sinner has been killed by you in battle—the one who, on your account, always contends in combat, eagerly wishing to give golden chariots and chariots equipped with excellent elephants to others.
