महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-159, verse-48

बोध्यमानं तु तत्सैन्यं राजंश्चन्द्रस्य रश्मिभिः ।
बुबुधे शतपत्राणां वनं महदिवाम्भसि ॥४८॥
48. bodhyamānaṁ tu tatsainyaṁ rājaṁścandrasya raśmibhiḥ ,
bubudhe śatapatrāṇāṁ vanaṁ mahadivāmbhasi.
48. bodhyamānaṃ tu tat sainyaṃ rājan candrasya raśmibhiḥ
bubudhe śatapatrāṇāṃ vanaṃ mahat iva ambhasi
48. rājan tu tat sainyaṃ candrasya raśmibhiḥ bodhyamānaṃ
ambhasi mahat śatapatrāṇāṃ vanaṃ iva bubudhe
48. But, O King, that army, being awakened by the moon's rays, became aware, just as a great mass of lotuses in water awakens (opens).
