महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-159, verse-11

ततः प्रववृते युद्धं श्रान्तवाहनसैनिकम् ।
पाण्डवानां कुरूणां च गर्जतामितरेतरम् ॥११॥
11. tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṁ śrāntavāhanasainikam ,
pāṇḍavānāṁ kurūṇāṁ ca garjatāmitaretaram.

11. Then a battle ensued, one in which both mounts and soldiers were exhausted, between the Pandavas and the Kurus, who were roaring at each other.
