महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-1, verse-31

सर्वशस्त्रभृतां श्रेष्ठं रोचमानमिवातिथिम् ।
बन्धुमापद्गतस्येव तमेवोपागमन्मनः ॥३१॥
31. sarvaśastrabhṛtāṁ śreṣṭhaṁ rocamānamivātithim ,
bandhumāpadgatasyeva tamevopāgamanmanaḥ.
31. sarva-śastra-bhṛtām śreṣṭham rocamānam iva atithim
bandhum āpad-gatasya iva tam eva upāgamat manaḥ
31. manaḥ tam eva upāgamat sarva-śastra-bhṛtām śreṣṭham

31. Their minds approached him alone, as one would approach the best among all weapon-bearers, appearing like a shining guest, or a kinsman to one fallen into distress.
