महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-1, verse-20

व्यावृत्तेऽहनि राजेन्द्र पतिते जाह्नवीसुते ।
अमर्षवशमापन्नाः कालोपहतचेतसः ॥२०॥
20. vyāvṛtte'hani rājendra patite jāhnavīsute ,
amarṣavaśamāpannāḥ kālopahatacetasaḥ.

amarṣavaśam āpannāḥ kāla upahata cetasaḥ

20. O king of kings, when the day had ended and the son of Jahnavī (Bhishma) had fallen, their minds clouded by destiny, they became overcome by indignation.
