महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-141, verse-43

कृष्ण उवाच ।
उपस्थितविनाशेयं नूनमद्य वसुंधरा ।
तथा हि मे वचः कर्ण नोपैति हृदयं तव ॥४३॥
43. kṛṣṇa uvāca ,
upasthitavināśeyaṁ nūnamadya vasuṁdharā ,
tathā hi me vacaḥ karṇa nopaiti hṛdayaṁ tava.
43. kṛṣṇaḥ uvāca upasthitavināśā iyam nūnam adya vasundharā
tathā hi me vacaḥ karṇa na upaiti hṛdayam tava
43. kṛṣṇaḥ uvāca he karṇa adya iyam vasundharā nūnam
upasthitavināśā tathā hi me vacaḥ tava hṛdayam na upaiti
43. Krishna said: O Karṇa, this earth (vasundharā) is indeed facing imminent destruction today. For truly, my words do not reach your heart.
